Shooting Stars

Shooting Stars is a program designed to introduce younger children to basketball in a fun, inclusive environment. Participants will have an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball at their own pace before they join a team and start playing in competitive games.

We would like to invite young girls and boys between the ages of 5 to 9 to come and learn how to play while making new friends and having fun. New participants are always welcome. New Program is run every term!

We have sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this term, a perfect way to learn the game and develop your child’s skills before joining a team.

Training Options:

DRILLS & SKILLS TRAINING SESSIONS (Born 2018-2020):
 – Tuesdays 4:15-5:00pm @ Box Hill Senior SC
 – Thursdays 4:15-5:00pm @ Box Hill Senior SC
 – Saturdays 9:15am-10:00am @ Kerrimuir PS (Born 2016-2019) NEW

DRILLS & SKILLS TRAINING SESSIONS (Born 2016-2018):
These sessions will have more competitive drills and game play to suit older participants.
 – Tuesdays 5:00-5:45pm @ Box Hill Senior SC
 – Thursdays 5:00-5:45pm @ Box Hill Senior SC
 – Saturdays 9:15am-10:00am @ Kerrimuir PS (Born 2016-2019) NEW

Koonung Secondary College

-Kerrimuir Primary School 

Price:  $80+ per participant per term (+plus $5 Basketball Victoria beginner program term fee and a PlayHQ booking fee)

 

 

 


On registration, you will also be required to pay a $5.00 Basketball Victoria (BV) fee as they charge each player a term fee that is valid across the state.  BV provides insurance and participation opportunities for players, services for clubs and associations, and the development and management of the sport as a whole.
