Fill-in rules
From Same Age Group
A player may fill in for the same age group in a higher section. (i.e. A player from U14 B can fill in for U14 A but NOT U14 B, C or D. Note B grade includes BA, BB, BC, B1, B2, B3, etc. A player from BD can not fill in for a team in BA, they are both considered Section B)
From Lower Age Group
A player may fill in for an older age group in a higher section, the same section or one section lower than the player's team. (i.e. A player from U14 B can fill in for U16 A, B or C but NOT U16 D)
Forfeit games
If you are unable to find a legal fill-in player, then you should try to get anyone to play a 'scratch match' (which may include players of the opposite gender, different age or even parents). The game is considered a forfeit however it saves the Club from being fined. Therefore, if your team ever gets into this situation, the Club asks that you participate in a scratch match to avoid the fine.
