Player Development Coach – Christopher Allison
We would like to welcome Chris Allison back to the Koonung Comets family as our new Player Development Coach.
Chris comes with a wealth of basketball knowledge and coaching experience that he is looking forward to passing down to the Koonung Comets families and wider community. Coach Chris Allison said, “Iβm really excited to be coaching with the Koonung Comets again. The kids are fantastic, and I canβt wait to help them grow their skills, build their knowledge, and take their game to the next level.”
Some of Chris’s Career highlights are;
– Camberwell Dragons Boys U12.1 Head coach (2025/26 Season)
– Camberwell Dragons Big V Youth Player & Vice Captain (2024-Current)
– No Limits Coaching Team (2023-2025)
– Camberwell Dragons U14/12 Basketball Coach (2021-2025)
– Koonung Comets Coach (2021-2024)
– Played VJBL Juniors for Nunawading Spectres (Many seasons in VC including a National Classic Championship)
Chris will be running Sunday Development sessions through his Academy, which will be available to all players that are serious about levelling up their skills and knowledge of basketball irrespective of where they play. At the start of term 4, we will be offering our members an opportunity to test out these programs on offer and be apart of something pretty special!

EOI FORM- SUNDAY DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS
Chris will also be coaching our Boys U12.1 and U14.1 Koonung teams this season, training them with other teams to create high performance squad sessions. Chris is a very welcome addition to our strong coaching lineup.
