Summer competitions run from October to March (Term 4+1), Winter competitions run from April to September (Term 2+3).

U8 to U21 SATURDAY COMPETITION (EDJBA)

Koonung Comets enters teams into the U8 to U21 EDJBA competition.

Venues: Games are played home and away against teams from Eltham, Bulleen, Ivanhoe, Balwyn, Collingwood and others

  • Ideal for beginners through to high level players
  • Spots available in all teams of all levels
  • Can register to play morning or afternoon Saturday games
  • Training sessions each week to compliment the games.

U7/8 FRIDAY AFTERNOON COMPETITION (CBL)

Koonung Comets enters teams into the U7/8 CBL competition. This competition runs very similar to our EDJBA competition but is played on Friday afternoons (after school) and with lowered rings.

This Friday competition is ONLY for U7/8 players (Born 2019-2020)

Venues: Kew High School, Boroondara Sports Complex and Camberwell High School.

Game time slots: 4:15pm, 5:00pm, 5:45pm

  • Training sessions each week to compliment the games.
  • Games played on lowered rings to accommodate younger players so they achieve greater success and confidence.
  • Register as an individual or with friends! Friendship requests can be made when registering.

U16 to U18 SATURDAY COMPETITION (CBL)

Whilst the EDJBA is our main Saturday competition, friendship teams U16 to U22 may enter the CBL competition.  This competition is a smaller, more localised competition, with fixed game times, that may suit some teams.

Venues: across Balwyn North, Camberwell, Hawthorn, Richmond, Ashburton
